Happy Birthday MOM!!!!

Or grandma, it depends on who you are talking to in my household. My mother in law's birthday is today! Happy birthday! Other than bringing my most wonderful husband in the world, her importance is so central in our home. She may not know it because we don't call her often enough, but she is mentioned often in our house. She is a great mother and grandmother and our lives just would not be the same without her.

I was going to put a picture of her (I have it on my digital photo frame [that she gave us!!!] and it is one of my favorite pictures of her) but there is something wrong with my external hard drive where all my photos live and even though I can post pictures I cannot view them before hand. I never named every single photo so I would have to know the number.

Hey look! I found it because the awesome picture frame she gave me listed the number!!!! She is just so great!

Tuesday Time Warp

It's been way too long since I put up a post, I didn't feel like uploading all the new pics from the camera (there are lots) and it wasn't Friday so I thought 'how can I put in old photos?' And I am sure many many many others thought of Tuesday Time Warp way before I did, but I guess it is just another way of saying I am too lazy to put up recent pics

BAND!

OH my goodness. If you are reading this I think you might faint since I am posting a post NOT about Benjamin and actually about one of the other kids. Have you resuscitated yourself yet?Well, it was band concert just this past Monday and unfortunately, all I got was Gabrielle's hair. I tried to get her attention, but everything was so loud she was just not going to hear me. But anyone who knows Gabrielle would definitely recognize that mass of hair
I must say how completely impressed I am with the band leader. For a middle school band, they are quite good. Of course, how objective can I really be?

Gabrielle thinks Benjamin is the most awesome thing that ever graced this planet. Peter Loves to show Benjamin off and remind everyone how much Benjamin looks like him. But Tre can just be so relaxed around Benjamin. When I ask Tre to take care of Benjamin, he more often than not just plops him on the bed and plays his gameboy while Benjamin explores, but it is a true testament of how at ease he is with the baby. Just before I snapped these pictures Tre was spoonfeeding Benjamin whatever was in the cup. But as always I grabbed the camera too late.

How Benjamin does laundry

I wanted to get pictures of him taking the socks out of the laundry basket, but then he started to put the laundry basket liner on his head and walk around. Which was just too cute not get a video of. He did walk straight into the wall before this, though - because his head was covered. But in the tradition of my family - if it hurts, lets try it one more time to see if it doesn't hurt anymore, he of course, tried again. Which is good, since I got this great video

Benjamin is now one!

I cannot believe it has been one year. Man, how did that happen?The cake (we already had one courtesy of Nannie, so I only made a 6 in. round and obviously forgot that fact when piping the words

Now my kids are also having a love fest with coldplay's viva la vida and I just happened to find this video today. They, however; were not impressed. Tre said that it wasn't as smooth when she sang it and Peter said that 'she sings slightly harder'. Gabrielle completely agreed.
