This seems like a super cool idea found on Flights of Whimsy that I found via Frogs in my Pocket.
Even though we already did week two of W is for Winter, I think I just may have to include this on my M is for Mitten week.
I do think next week is canceled due to appointments, airport arrivals and the such (which is good for me, since my computer caught a despicable virus)
This past week we worked on Winter again and we did read the aforementioned snowman book, we did use the foam snowflakes for patterning (which was a HUGE success) and we did glue snowflakes (6 of them to be exact) on number sixes (I did cut out TWENTY FOUR small snowflakes from a medium sized circle [used my cooking spray top as a pattern] and even though I am sure it took more than 30 minutes {I did cheat and put two or three together at times, folded in half 2 or 3 times and cut out little pieces - I tried my darndest to remember that perfect form was NOT an issue})
Instead of printing off a worksheet of my own this time (since I couldn't) I did go to one of my favorite places to print off a worksheet. I printed a large W sheet AND a small w sheet which I will not do again. Our new Little Mister did not really find copying letters interesting and Benjamin decided that was just fine for him and thought it would be great to follow suit.
Sweet Pea's mom made snack - red and green jello jigglers cut into Christmas Tree shapes - it was so very awesome not to have to worry about snack - and it was delicious! (Yes, I sampled some of Benjamin's)
