Ren Fest

We went to the Ren Fest this weekend. I didn't get any pictures of the kids, which is totally my fault, but I got plenty pictures of birds:

This one being my favorite because this condor was just amazing. An Andean Condor, by the way; not a California one. Yes, I did photoshop the handler's face because of privacy policy and such and I DID IT ALL BY MYSELF IN PHOTOSHOP! I can't believe it myself.

Peter's favorite part was visiting the animals from the local Humane Society on sale for"Only $50, Mom; isn't that cheap?"

Baby Boy Benjamin!!!!!!

I know it's taken me a while, but our sweet baby boy is finally here! We are so excited. I have been so busy just watching him grow that I haven't bothered to post. He is almost 3 weeks old!!!!

Okay, stats are:

Born on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 (yes I know it is May already, SORRY Benjamin was more important than trying to figure out how to get back into my blog -- AND I didn't write down my password again, so I will have to figure out this mess AGAIN.)

Time: 11:18 a.m.

Weight: 9lb 4 oz

Length: 21 inches

Hair: RED (Mothers of Redheads Club, here I come)

Eyes: Blue, of course (but they seem to be starting to change)

When he was born, he was purple from coming out so quickly

My mother was terrified that his face was going to turn green because many other bruises do that before fading away. She MADE me ask the nurse before I left the hospital. He didn't turn green. The purple faded away completely in just a few days. I think he was nice and pink by Sunday
